Bill started racing at 7 and won several MT State Championships. He connected with Evel Kinevel when he was 14. He soon became crew chief for him and eventually Robbie Kinevel for over 35 years. Bill started Evel Knievel Days in Butte, MT in 2001 which brought thousands of motorcycle riders and Evel Knievel enthusiasts to the Big Skies of Montana. The spirit of Evel Knievel lives on because of Bill’s work.
