A proud product of Owensboro, Kentucky, Nicky Hayden had a passion for racing that was matched only by his love for family. Following a successful amateur career, his professional highlights included national titles in AMA 600 Supersport ('99) and AMA Superbike ('02), as well as the '02 Daytona 200 win and the ’06 MotoGP World Championship. That said, the "Kentucky Kid's" most indelible impact was arguably his incredible popularity with fans.
