As popularized in the movie, “On any Sunday”, this desert duo spent most of their weekends romping through the So Cal desert at 300 plus races. John and Kookie rode together as one. Like any expert desert racer, “Kookie learned to read the terrain, leaning back in the rough stuff and standing up on the smoother terrain. John could always tell what was up ahead by the way Kookie moved.” Good Dog.
