In 1980, Dave was an officer at Kawasaki who volunteered to shepherd a massive new amateur support program called Team Green. The goal was to find the best young prospects all over the country and get them to the races on Kawasaki motorcycles. The rest is history. Many Kawasaki national champions in MX, SX desert racing and on three wheels owe their success to Dave.
