A founding member of the Class of ‘79 Wayne comes from a family of racers and raced himself from 1979 – 1993, getting his start in professional Dirt Track racing. His major accomplishments include the National Superbike Championship in 1982, 83 and 87. He also became the 500cc World Road Racing Champion from 1990 – 1992. After a racing career ending injury in 1993, Wayne became a race team owner and manager and more recently was one of the founding members of MOTO America.
