SoCal product Mike Healey shone as a mini phenom on Suzukis & Hondas, winning the World Mini GP & Ponca City with youthful fire. Pro at 15, he claimed the first AMA 125cc Supercross at Anaheim '85. To World GP MX, "The Gunner" arose—3rd in 125s '89, 2nd in 250s '91 for KTM. After retiring, Healey formed his MX School & having Healey Barber became his true passions. He passed 7/4/24, one of the most genuine & badass American motocrossers ever.
