Mike Johns began racing on the TT race tracks of Ascot and Perris, before taking his talents to AMA D37 Desert racing and ultimately motocross where Mike's "Hot Shoe" earned him an AMA Pro License at 16 years old. Mike entered the motorcycle industry with Troy Lee overseeing gear manufacturing. Mike would move to safety equipment engineering for Indy and NASCAR. But his High Achievement - introducing Laminated TearOff's with Oakley, in use today.
