He's a beloved figure in American motocross and respected friend of the sport of motorcycling. He raced the ‘69-70 Inter-Am Series on his Dan Gurney Montesa. In ‘71, Tim won the AMA National MX Championship. An early MX racer, he dominated night MX at Ascot & Lions, and raced many firsts: Super Bowl of Motocross, Carlsbad GP, Astrodome SX, and Daytona Outdoor SX, and rode his factoy Yamaha to win Hangtown '75!
