Ted started racing at age 7. He was a versatile racer with wins in all divisions of flat track events. In 1976 he was the youngest rider at 17 years old to win a National. He captured 8 National wins in his career. Ted was “King of the Privateers,” finishing runner up in both 1977 and 1985 seasons. Ted died at Ascot Park, May 7, 1988.
