Chuck Palmgren, an American flat-track racer who scored five major AMA Grand National wins in the late 1960s and early ’70s, including victories at Nazareth, Sacramento, Santa Rosa, Westbury, and Indianapolis. He ranked fifth in the 1969 Grand National series and later helped pioneer Yamaha’s 750cc flat-track program in the 1970s.
