Brelsford was National #19 from ’74 to ’76, running factory HD as a Junior and rookie expert. He won the five-lap red-flagged Atlanta Mile in ‘72. Left HD to ride Irv Kanemoto’s Kawasaki H2R three-cylinder two stroke 750. Won an AMA Regional Mile at Stockton in ’75. That victory was the first significant two-stroke multi-cylinder DT win. Brelsford finished 9th in the GNC points in ‘73 and earned himself Rider of the Year.
