Mike North is one of the first American Factory Sponsored Racers for a Japanese Motorcycle Manufacturer – Bridgestone Motorcycles, beginning in 1966. He and his teammate Gary Wells, tormented and frustrated many expert and pro racers throughout Nevada, California and Arizona flat track and TT events as a pre-teen/early teenagers, beating them with their factory 100cc and 175cc twin bikes, usually against bigger machines in 125cc / 250cc classes.
