Nicknamed the Colorado Cowboy David started racing Flattrack in 1970 at age 16. Switched to Speedway after older brother Rick died during a race they were both in 2016. Colorado State Dirt Speedway Champion, 2016 Colorado State Ice Speedway Champion. 67 years young David Pieper continues to races the Speedway circuit in Ohio, New York, Florida and California.
