Bill Boyce was a giant of pro racing in the closing decades of the 20th century, holding key roles at the AMA from 1971 until his death in 1999. Dealing with all disciplines, but specialized in dirt track, speedway and hillclimb. Bill was an influential member of the FIM Tech. Commission. He served in two wars, raced dirt track, was an AMA ref, and a proud Dayton MC member. He received AMA's highest honor, the Dud Perkins Award, in 1996.
