Began as infield crew chief at Speedway USA. Became a referee at the urging of Dennis DeTemple. Officiated at Speedway USA, Glen Helen, Industry Hills, PAS, Perris raceway, San Bernardino, Del Mar, Long Beach, Santa Maria, Route 66 raceway, Ridgecrest, Bishop fairgrounds, Ventura Fairgrounds, and Pomona. Competed in numerous District 37 Desert races. Member of Vikings MC and HBMC district clubs. Son Michael Hull raced speedway.
