Johnnie Parsons

has been inducted into the

Hot Shoe Hall of Fame
December 20, 2024

The famed 1950 Indy 500 winner was involved with motorcycle racing while serving as president of the legendary Ascot Park in 1970s. Parsons served over AMA flat track, CMC motocross and high school motocross events. Parsons was a champion in the 1949 AAA national midget series and won races at historic tracks including Gardena Stadium, Langhorne, Springfield, DuQuoin, Darlington and Phoenix. He is the Motorsports, IMS and Midget Halls of Fame.
