Tommy Norton

has been inducted into the

Hot Shoe Hall of Fame
January 3, 2023

Competed:

A 27-year-old racer named Tommy Norton shocked the racing world toppling giants and winning the Blackwater 100 race in 1990. As a privateer Norton brought a knife to a gun fight and proceeded to go out and be the first person to ever win the 'toughest race in America' on a small-bore machine: a KTM125. His victory was a true Davey vs. Goliath moment and is known as one of the greatest upsets in off-road racing history.
