His love of motorcycles began at the age of 15 in the hills of the San Fernando Valley. He raced MX in Europe from 1960-65, competed on the 64 Int’l 6 Day Trials team along with the Ekins, Steve McQueen & Paul Hunt. Stu started CMC MX in 1968, along with Kelvin Franks, and built the famous Carlsbad MX Track. Stu promoted & sanctioned MX races at 1500+ tracks in the US, Mexico & Canada. 1st promoter to do so.
