Big Mike Konle was a very accomplished motorcycle racer, one of his career highlights for sure had to be when he was the winner of the 1963 Greenhorn Enduro at 18 years old, also very competitive in class C. In Speedway Motorcycles he finished 2nd in the National Championship only after a run-off with Mike Bast. Later in business he was the founder of Redline racing frames and Champion cranes both very successful companies.
