Jim Wilson is one of the best trials and MX racers to come out of So. Cal. in the ‘60s and ‘70s. He started riding trials at age 13, earned the #1 plate when he was 14, scored 55 wins in a row and was #1 four years in a row. In 1968, Jim switched to motocross, racing several days a week at Ascot, Saddleback, Carlsbad, and Bay Mare. In 1973, Honda hired him as a developmental rider to help refine their CR line.
