A product of the So Cal Motorcycle Scene, he went from minibike to pro quickly and by 1970 was riding for AJS, then Yamaha Support, and worked for Kawasaki, Wheelsmith and D.O.T., testing motorcycles. He would start the American Vintage Dirt Racers Association (AVDRA) in 1990 and has produced over 400 events nationwide. He has also acquired 14 National Vintage Motocross Championships along the way.
