As the basis for his incredible auto racing career, Dan Gurney’s love for racing began with motorcycles. He was most proud of his 21st place result at Big Bear in 1958, while also becoming the USAC auto road Racing Champion the same year. He was featured in Montesa advertising in the ‘60’s. He developed and built the revolutionary Alligator motorcycle and in 2015 received a patent for a twin cylinder I.C.
