"Michigan Mafia" Legends Parker, Springsteen, Brow To Be Featured At Hot Shoe Hall Of Fame On Jan. 31

The legendary "Michigan Mafia" flat track racers - Scott Parker, Jay Springsteen and Garth Brow - will be among the featured guests on Saturday, Jan. 31, in the sixth annual "Hot Shoe" Hall of Fame Museum and Motorcycle Industry Celebration at the Las Vegas' Notoriety Theatre in the famed Las Vegas Fremont Street Experience (450 E. Fremont St., 3rd Floor).

The "Michigan Mafia" was a popular contingent from the late 1970s to the 2000s with Parker, the nine-time AMA Grand National champion and winningest race winner (94); Springsteen, the three-time AMA Grand National titleholder and first racer to capture 30 AMA Grand National races; and Brow, a dominant short track racer, captured his first AMA Grand National race in his "rookie year" (1977) at the famed Ascot Park as well as many Mile classics.

"Scott, Jay and Garth have left an incredible legacy in flat track dating back to the 1970s and continued for many decades. They have some great stories about their 140 mile-per-hour action, and we hope all of our event's attendees will enjoy those crazy and wild adventures in our racer presentation. With the three 'Mafia" members' Hot Shoes among our great display at our Gene Woods Karting Track, the Celebration's attendees will have a great opportunity to see historic shoes up close before the Hot Shoe event."
